Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Siftly handles information when you use the Siftly iOS application. Siftly is designed as a local-first photo review and organization tool.
1. Information Siftly accesses
When you grant photo access, Siftly may read photo and video library metadata and request thumbnails or preview resources needed to provide the features you choose to use. This can include asset identifiers, media type, dimensions, dates, favorite or hidden status, adjustment status, burst information, and availability information provided by Photos.
2. How information is used
Siftly uses this information to identify and present similar photos, bursts, screenshots, large videos, and related review opportunities; maintain your review selections and protected decisions; and prepare a cleanup session that you explicitly confirm.
3. Local processing
Photo analysis for the shipped Siftly experience is performed on your iPhone. Siftly does not upload your photos or videos to a Siftly-operated remote server. Siftly does not sell personal information or use your photo library for advertising.
4. Storage and retention
Siftly stores limited analysis cache and review state on the device so that results and decisions can be restored. These records are not a replacement copy of your photo library. You can remove the app and its local app data through iOS settings. Photo deletion is performed by the iOS Photos system only after you explicitly confirm the cleanup flow.
5. Sharing
Siftly does not share your photo library information with third parties for their own marketing. Apple system services, including Photos and iCloud, may process content according to your device settings and Apple’s applicable terms and privacy policy.
6. Permissions and choices
You control photo access through iOS. You may grant full or limited access, change access in Settings, or deny access. Some Siftly features will not work without the corresponding permission.
7. Children
Siftly is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a remote service.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app’s data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version published with this document.
